Kasargod: One killed, another serious in car-lorry collision

Kasargod, Feb 16: After a truck collided with a car on the national highway near Totagate at Pilikkode here on Wednesday February 15, a person died and another suffered grievous injuries.

Santosh Kumar (38), son of Balakrishnan and Tangamani couple from Poovalam Puttariadka in Nileshwar, lost his life in this accident. Unnikrishnan (35), who happens to be the brother of Kumar's wife, survived with serious injuries. He stands admitted into Pariyaram Medical College Hospital.

Both Kumar and Unnikrishnan were returning home after visiting Malappuram to check practicability of setting up a super market there on partnership basis, when the accident occurred. Santosh Kumar is survived by wife, a son and a sister.
