Mangaluru, Feb 16: Police personnel attached to Kavoor station here arrested two persons from near Kulur bus stand on Wednesday February 15 for consuming ganja. Allegedly, Shalu Poojary (33) from Hosabettu Kulai and Naveen Ameen (23) from Tannirbavi here had consumed ganja at the said bus stand from where they were taken into custody.
After finding both of them under suspicious circumstances at the bus stand, the police questioned them. They confessed to have consumed the banned drug. Thereafter, they were subjected to medical tests, which revealed that they had consumed ganja, police personnel stated.
