Mangaluru Feb 3: Coastalwood has been producing excellent talents from a few years now. One such emerging talents is Chirashree Anchan.

Hailing from Mangaluru, 19-year-old Chirashree is the daughter of late Madhusudan Anchan and Poornima Madhu. Chirashree stepped into coastalwood at a very young age. The young actress's career has seen a drastic progress from her debut.

Chirashree began her career in the year 2014 with Tulu film 'Rambarooti' directed by Prajwal Kumar Attavar. Her second film, 'Pavitra' met excellent response from the audience. The coastalwood beauty has also shared screenspace with Real Star Upendra in the Kannada flick Kalpana 2 as a supporting actor. Chirashree's acting skills have proved that she is an all-round performer.

Producer of 'Pavitra', Rama Rao Ermala has signed Chirashree for his next venture 'Oh Manjunatha'. She has also signed an untitled Tamil movie which scheduled to be shot in Chennai, Kumbakonam and other parts of Tamil Nadu. The actress has also signed Telugu film 'Aame Athadaithe'.

Speaking to Daijiworld.com Chirashree said, "I was interested in films from my childhood. I had just completed my pre-university when I worked in Rambarooti and Pavitra. I used to manage my studies and movie shoots. Usually, I wont find time for studies. I used to study whenever there used to be no shoots".

"Facing the camera as a debutant was difficult. I was nervous. But now I am confident as I have got used to it," she said.

"I am getting a lot of offers. I am unable to commit to some films at I have a packed schedule," she says.

When queried about her dream role she says, "I would love to play the lead in a female-centric film".

Chirashree was recently awarded 'Viewers Choice Best Actress' award for 2016 at a popular Tulu film awards event.
