Mumbai: Shani Mahatma Seva Samithi celebrates 50th anniversary

Mumbai, Feb 6: The 50th anniversary of Shani Mahatma Mandira was held at Billavara Bhavan auditorium, Santacruz east on Sunday afternoon January 29. Billavara association president Nithyananda D Kotian presided over the programme. Chief guest, National Billava Mahamandala president, Bharath Bank executive president Jaya C Suvarna lit the lamp, inaugurated the programme and released 'Khar Shanishwara', souvenir.

Bharath Bank director Damodhar C Kunder, advocate S B Ameen, film actor, director Dr Rajashekar R Kotian, advocate Seetharama Shetty, businessman Ashok Moodbidri, Diwaker Ameen, CA Prakash Shetty, Bharathi Nittekar, Umesh Kaup, Shamaraj Shetty, Haridas G Shetty Vidyavihar were present. Those who provided valuable service to the samithi for the last five decades were felicitated on the occasion.

Religious and cultural programmes were held on the occasion.

Trustee member Narayana G Kotian, joint assistant secretaries C N Shetty and Jayarama Shetty, joint treasurer Vinod Y Hejmady, executive president R D Kotian, vice president Purandaradas Shetty, women's wing's Shobha V Kotian, members of the board of trustees Vasu P Shetty, Vasu S Kotian, Bhoja C Poojary, Vinay N Salian, Bhuvaji R G Kotian, Harish Anchan, other office bearers and members were present.
