Mangaluru: Sooraj Shetty to introduce local talents through 'English'

Mangaluru, Feb 1: Coastalwood's top director Sooraj Shetty will give opportunity to local talents in his next directorial venture 'English'.

His last film, 'Pilibail Yamunakka' had bollywood singers Shreya Goshal, Kunal Ganjawala, Nakash Aziz and Aman Trikha along with local singers Patla Satish Shetty and Prakash Madhavan lending their voices to the songs. Sooraj has revealed that 'English' will provide platform to local talents including singers and lyricists. There will be four songs in the film. Sandeep Balal will compose the music for 'English'. Mayur Shetty along with some new local talents will be given chance to try their hands at lyrics.

Sooraj's 'English' is quitely picking up publicity on social media. It is the first time a Tulu fim is going for crowd funding. The budget for the film is said to be around Rs 65 lakhs.

The very talented director started his journey with 'Ekka Sakka' which was also a big hit. His second directorial 'Pilibail Yamunakka' is doing rock solid business with over Rs 2.5 crore in its kitty in fifty days.

Hope that the new talents introduced by Sooraj go on to make a mark in coastalwood.

    With all the due respect Sooraj Shetty, i strongly feel that Coastalwood's top director is Veerendra sheety Kavoor.Only he deserves that honour
