MCC to organize Mangalorean Day with Gulf Baila Naach Qatar prelims

Doha, Jan 23: Mangalore Cricket Club (MCC) Qatar, will host Mangalorean Day along with Gulf Baila Dance contest Qatar prelims on Friday January 27 at 5.30 pm at MES CBSE-I School Auditorium. Abu Hamour.

MCC year after year organizes Mangalorean Day to bring all Mangalureans spread in Qatar to come together as one family and provides a platform to all Mangalureans to showcase their different talents on one stage.


The main attraction of this Mangalorean Day is the Baila Dance Contest, traditional Voviyo and Verse competition along with other cultural programme including songs and skits and food fiesta. It is a complete package of entertaining evening from tiny tots to young and elders.

MCC will also be felicitating members Carol D’Souza and Clement Fernandes, first runner-up of Gulf Voice of Mangalore -5 during this programme. MCC Ladies Throw ball Champions will also be honoured for their 3 successive tournament wins during this programme.

While one's eyes, ears, hearts and minds are being entertained by dance, music and humorous skit, a grand variety of home cooked Mangalurean delicacies will be available in food stalls to satisfy one’s literal hunger and crave for home made food especially to bachelor brethren and families staying away from homeland.
MCC requests all to come forward and participate in this Mangalorean Day and make it a memorable fun-filled evening.
