Beary Cultural Forum to hold sports festival on Jan 27 at Ajman

Dubai, Jan 22: Bearys Cultural Forum (BCF) Dubai is all geared up for its 13th annual Sports Festival 2017 to be held on Friday January 27 at Gulf Medical University grounds.

Around 1,000-plus participants not only from across UAE but also from neighboring Gulf Countries are expected to arrive as announced by the sports committee.

Various events for men, women and children have been arranged for the day including cricket, volleyball, football, kabbadi, throwball, tug-of-war, badminton, billiards and relay. Special attraction for women will be cookery competition and Mehndi competition. For children, the committee has also arranged various fun-filled games.

BCF president Dr B K Yousuf will be presiding the programme and founder patron of BCF Dr Thumbe Moideen, chairman Thumbay Group will be the special guest of honour for the day.

BCF chief advisor Zafrullah Khan, chairman of Zain International Group and honorary advisor Fatavullah Saheb Thonse, managing director of Barsha Group of Companies have agreed to be the guests of honour.

Raffle draw will be special attraction of the programme with prizes. Lunch will be served in the afternoon along with tea-coffee breaks with refreshments in between.
