Bengaluru international airport to remain closed during day from Feb 19

Bengaluru, Jan 21: Civil works relating to extension of the runway at the Kempegowda International Airport here are being taken up from next month.

Officials of the airport said that the airport operations during the day will remain suspended between 10.30 am to 5 pm from February 19 to April 30 on account of runway extension.

Flights will not be able to operate from the airport during this period. Flights will depart and land as per schedule during the remaining period as usual.

It is advisable for the pasengers to reach the airport at least an hour in advance during this period, the officials stated.
