Rahul asks BJP 'not to be afraid'

New Delhi, Jan 18 (IANS): Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday asked the BJP "not to be afraid", after the party approached the Election Commission over his comments on the Congress party symbol of hand.

"Dear BJP, Don't be afraid," Rahul Gandhi tweeted on his official account, attaching a tweet related to BJP's complaint.

Claiming that Rahul Gandhi's correlating the party symbol 'hand' with religious figures was violative of the poll code of conduct, the BJP on Tuesday moved the EC seeking 'seizure' of the election symbol of Congress.
