Bantwal: Hotel owner stabs youth for silly reason, injured hospitalised

Bantwal, Jan 15: A hotel owner in Panemangaluru near here allegedly stabbed a young man after some minor arguments on Saturday, January 14.


Yasin (30), the owner of Chicken & Fish Hotel, is the person who attacked Naufal (25) from Nehru Nagar.

As per information available, Naufal and Yasin, who know each other, had some arguments over a silly matter which led Yasin to stab Naufal.

Naufal who sustained injuries was rushed to a hospital in Thumbay for first aid and then was taken to a hospital in Mangaluru for advanced treatment where he is admitted. .

Some angry youth came together after the incident and pelted stones at the hotel. Some window glasses of the hotel were damaged. Bantwal police station officer Nandakumar and his personnel reached the place immediately and controlled the situation. They also closed the hotel.

Police have taken Yasin into custody and investigation is in progress.

    Why dont our people now even in this decade dont get certain things in their head that dont beat anyone for any reason,may be small or big,dont touch others?when any major things happen call police?Afterall both are old enough to settle things without hurting the other.It should be investigated and punish the one who hurt.
