AAP does not have money to fight Punjab, Goa polls: Arvind Kejriwal

PANAJI, Jan 8 (PTI) : AAP National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today claimed that his "honest" party does not have money to fight the upcoming assembly elections in Punjab and Goa.

"We don't have a single penny to contest Punjab and Goa polls. Our bank account is empty," Kejriwal said addressing a public meeting in Mapusa town.

"We are in power in Delhi for the last two years, we also could have minted money. But even two years down the line, we don't have it to fight polls," he said.

Launching a scathing attack on BJP, Congress and MGP, Kejriwal said the days of these parties are numbered.

"This time people will vote for AAP which will win 28-32 seats in Goa (out of 40)," he said.

"There is a clear division between AAP and other parties. AAP is an honest political party while the rest are corrupt. Even BJP, which is our strongest rival, during their internal meetings admit that AAP leaders are not corrupt," he claimed

Voting in both Goa and Punjab will take place on February 4.

    Rajesh,Mangalore,
I appreciate your knowledge of the rules of Foreign Banks, But why was our great PM was screaming before the election, that he will bring back the black money stored abroad?

So he has to learn a lot. And this topic was discussed by the PM and not by some elements of BJP, as you are thinking.

Are you aware of the scheme called LRS, under this scheme, any Indian can send money abroad for the children's education and medical expenses? During UPA, the limit was US $ 75,000, and in 2014 under Modi govt, this limit was raised to US $ 275,000.

Why was this limit raised? Any answer? This was done to help the politicians and black money hoarders to transfer the black money from India to foreign banks in the legal way. Get the point? lol

I do appreciate the efforts to fight the black money. Modi started the fight after making all the arrangements by increasing the limit of LRS and giving benefit to his political and business partners before declaring Note-bandi.

I will accept your argument if you stand before the God / or in a temple and say that Modi has NOT given any benefit to his political and business partners. That is all your honour.

It is not only AAP even common man of India is not having money despite they own savings.

Demonetisation has certainly robbed the common man to pay the debt of corporate loans for public sector banks.

Whole demonetisation exercise is nothing but weakening the opposition parties in poll bound states.

This country supported Mahatma Gandhi independent struggle with cause. Democracy is people's verdict.Win the heart by truth not by cash.
I appreciate your honesty in admitting the truth.

The way you protested against demonetisation, people suspected you wanted to fight on fake currency & anonymous donors money.

Why has your party not d the donors list as promised in your website as promised in your manifesto?

Your popularity is has become a big head ache for them... They came to know that in last Delhi elections....You are a sincere person and they know that once you come to Delhi unholy Parliament they will be thrown out of the politics and you will make them with out job for the rest of their life...!Now Modi adopted all the measures which you and Anna Hazare planned for cleaning politics....!. Sincerity has no place in Indian politics...! You also be a crooked and cunning and you will shine like a star in the India shining flag....

Observe his debate how he speaks from his heart unlike other seasoned crooks who speaks something and in their heart and mind is somewhere. No doubt, in Goa AAP will be the winner. AAP is the last hope for honest, peace loving and common people of India. Jai ho AAP. Jai ho AK.

Mr Kas, Dont foolishly comment that by depositing money into banks black becomes white. Government now has an enormous data. All bank deposits have address. this will give more information which will help in identyfying black money holders. the suffocation these black money holders will face will force them to be clean in future years. By the way the Pakoos have not taken a single step against black money.

Mr Kas, Its the domestic black money which goes out of India gets stashed abroad. if you dont want Indian money going out of India then you have to block the black money pipes in india. that is precisely what is happenning here. Indian govt does not have full control over foreign Banks because they operate outside Indian jurisdiction. there are secrecy clauses and treaties which acts as stumbling blocks. besides the money will not be stagnent it would have changed hands. However, despite all this Modi will do as much as possible to bring black money stashed abroad. At election time all parties will indulge in rhetorics and some elements in BJP would have done that too. unlike the previous government which has done absolutely nothing on Black money the present govt has started the ball rolling in the fight against Black money. So commend them for that instead of venting jealousy.
