Mumbai, Jan 7: Oovayya T Poojay (76), proprietor of Samrat Lunch Home, at Goregaon West passed away after a brief illness at his residence at Belman Peralpade, Udupi district on Thursday January 5.

He was a senior hotelier in Mumbai and had indulged in social work behind the curtain.

He has left behind his wife, son (Navin O Poojary, member of Billavara Association, Mumbai, Goregaon local committee executive committee member), two daughters and a large number of friends and relatives.
