Mangaluru, Nov 18: Bhandary Builders' latest project, 'Bhandary Solitaire' residential apartments, located near Kadri ground, Mallikatta was inaugurated on Wednesday November 18.
Rajendra Kumar, chairman, SCDCC Bank and A J Shetty, chairman, AJ Group inaugurated the new project, followed by lighting of lamp by all the dignitaries.
Addressing the gathering, A J Shetty said, "Laxmish Bhandary has given a beautiful project in this locality. With the grace of Kadri Manjunatha I wish him all success in his business endeavours. This apartment has 14 flats with all the modern amenities and it is located at an ideal place with temple, school, colleges and hospitals at a walkable distance. I congratulate him and wish that he builds more such good projects in the coming days."
Rajendra Kumar said, "Mangaluru is growing at a high pace and it has been chosen for Smart City project. Thus there is need for employment generation which can be done only when investment comes to Mangaluru. Laxmish is a hardworking person and he has proved how successful one can become through persistent efforts. Investors are reluctant to invest in Mangaluru because of small incidents of violence that have been projected as big. Let us all live in peace and harmony and let us make Mangaluru more investor-friendly."
Former mayor Shashidar Hegde said, "Mangaluru has been chosen for Smart City project with a high score of 98 in Karnataka and we are confident that it will make it to the first 20 list which will be announced in January. There are many reasons for the development of Mangaluru and builders too have contributed in making this city beautiful. There are many developmental works which will be undertaken in this locality in the coming days. I wish peace and happiness to all the families who will reside in this apartment building."
Corporator Ashok D K said, "Mangaluru is among the fastest growing cities in the country. For the first time in Mangaluru, this locality will get underground cable system with the cooperation of Karnataka electricity board. Work on concreting will also start by next week."
CREDAI president D B Mehta also spoke on the occasion and wished Laxmish Bhandary all success.
