It’s a proud moment to have the good news of the Muhurat, for a New Konkani Movie –
“Noshibacho Khell” by two great men – Henry D’Silva Suratkal & Harry William Fernandes, Barkur, as Producer and Director respectively.
I was really privileged to act in his plays in Mumbai and in Mangalore in late 80’s. Legends like, Edwin Banz, Pintham Derebail, Harry boy, Julie Vaz and so on...... to share the stage, is a great moment....Still I can recollect the roaring acting of Harry Fernandes in” Kazara Upranth”.....later made the film, gauging its popularity of the drama and public demand. It was a wonderful experience to act with them in the film too....History repeats itself and a new project by the Canarite Youth Association, after 30 years, and I am confident of it will be a runaway success.
Yet again it’s a rare opportunity to our Barkurian talents to act in the movie....Surly Henry and Harry would have offered me a small role in their film, alas, due to my preoccupation in Muscat, it’s not feasible and practical.
Wish this project every success....May Almighty Bless the whole team of artists and technicians let the film carry a message to the society, as it was a trademark of Henry D’Silva’s social plays for years together.....!

This is Awesome !! I can't believe a movie being shot at my neighbor hood a tiny village, Moodahadu Kudru. Of late home owners were moving out of Moodahadu kudru due to commuting problems. Now, a movie being made at one of the houses makes me feel good. Congratulations to Harry from our own home town, proud of you. You will certainly go places. I will try to visit the location during my trip to India this December.

Henry D silva, a entrepreneur by profession, ventured in konkani movie production, and produced "Kazara Upranth" which not only was a instant hit, but conveyed a invaluable message to the society. Now, after a stint of 40 years, he is out to mesmerize and enchant Konkani Community with his new production team with the movie "Nassibacho Khel which will be engraved in our memories for years to come. Let god shower you all the success for this and future projects.

I remember having seem Mr.Henry D'Silva's first Konkani play, "Vatteh Oilo Kaanto" at Suratkal back in 1975 and then the video film "Kazara Upranth" both of which were quite entertaining. Now looking forward to see "Noshibacho Khell" also. Wish the team every success.

Great news for Konkani. Congratulations to Henry'ab / Harry'ab and the entire team. I am sure this movie will be a roaring success looking at the caliber of the director, the writer/producer and the stars, which is lead by Elton and my dear little friend Esther Noronha who both are celebrities. Surely Alwyn Andrade will add spice to the movie. Sujatha Andrade....who has proven herself enough on stage and sure to add value to the movie. Stany, Prince Jacob…waw…stalwarts. Even though I don’t know Ranjitha personally (or do I?) I am positive she will rock. Fr. Valerian has blessed it…which means…..nothing on earth can stop the success of this movie. All the best. Jai Konkani.

In forthcoming years, Tulu, Konkani & Beurry language films will not allow Kannada movies to hit into Mangalore because of lack of theaters.
