Mangalore, Jul 25: “Acting is more challenging than modelling. Among all my movies ‘Namaste London’ was the most challenging film so far,” said Katrina Kaif, bollywood actress here on Wednesday July 25 evening.

Attending a press meet before inaugurating the ‘Khazana Jewellery’ here in the city she said “commercial films give more push-up. Later one should look for art films. Hence, I would like to continue as an entertainer.”

Answering a question about her favourite hero, she opined that, so far she has a good experience with Akshay Kumar. He is very upbeat; nice person to work with him, she added.

“At present I am looking for different films and different challenges. Now I am working for Subhash Ghai. The title of the film has not yet been decided,” said she.

Speaking about Mangalore, she said that, she has not seen Mangalore yet properly. It looks similar to Cochin and Vizhag. This place is cool and nice. One can come here for spending their holidays and can stay for 4 to 5 days, she added.

Speaking about ‘Khazana Jewellery,’ Kishore Jain, managing director of the jewellery said that the first shop of Khazana was opened at Nellur in Andhra Pradesh in the year of 1976 as north-Indian gold jewellery. In the first phase, 10 more show rooms were opened. Mangalore is the 11th branch of Khazana, he informed.

The Khazana has 20% of the market in Chennai. In Mangalore, a total of 20 crore has been invested. About 50 to 70 crore rupees turn-over per year has been expected, he added.

Work is going on to open showrooms at Srilanka, Dhaka, Singapore and Dubai. Katrina Kaif is going to be Khazana’s brand ambassador, said he.

Khazana officers Kannan, Prabhu Mahadevan, Srikant and Sripati were present at the press meet.
