Kasargod, Nov 29: The dead body of a youth from Bevinje, who had drowned in a lake in Mysore two days ago, was found on Friday November 28.

The deceased is Bevinje Kadavath resident Mohammed Azeez (34). His body was found about 15 km away from the place where he had gone missing. The locals saw the dead body and informed the police.

Fire brigade personnel lifted the body and took it to Chamarajanagar police station for postmortem.

The youth had drowned when he had gone for a bath in the Chamarajanagar Lake with his brother Shukoor and friend Azeez. Local people, police, fire brigade, and friends who had gone from Kasargod had participated in the search.
