Doha: Tulu movie 'Telikeda Bolli' to be screened on Dec 6

Doha, Dec 3: Karnoor Mohan Rai, whose efforts had brought Cha Parka troupe to Gulf countries 15 years ago, has once again put in all efforts to screen Tulu film across the GCC countries.

After successful shows in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Muscat 'Telikeda Bolli' is all set to be screened in Qatar. This will be the first ever screening of a Tulu film in Qatar.

The film will be screened at The Mall - Cineplex (near Lulu Hypermarket) on Friday December 6 at 5 pm.

Mohan Rai, a prominent personality in Mumbai and Mangalore has made all arrangements to screen the Tulu film 'Telikeda Bolli' starring Devdas Kapikad, Naveen Padil, Bhojraj Vamonjoor, Aravind Boloor and many other comedian actors. The film, written by Devdas Kapikad, introduces Arjun Kapikad in the lead role with Arshitha Shetty as the lead actress. Well-known Kannada director P H Vishwanath has directed the film.

Speaking to daijiworld Mohan Rai has requested all association leaders in Doha to support the show and promote the Tulu film industry.

As the show is expected to run a full house Rai has requested all Tuluvas to book their tickets in advance. Rai said that the success of Telikeda Bolli has encouraged many other producers to make Tulu films and in the year 2014, Tuluvas will see many coming up.
