Beta version of Youflik.com to be launched on Oct 26

Mangalore, Oct 26: The beta version of the first Indian based social networking site www.youflik.com which is the brainchild of 15-year-old Prithviraj will be launched today at TMA Pai hall on October 26 at 4.30 pm.

Addressing the media persons on Saturday October 26, Pradeep Reddy, chief operating officer of Youflik social net connect private limited said after Prithviraj founded this networking site, a team of 27 professionals based in Bangalore have developed it with the support from managing director Arjun Moras.

Briefing further, Youflik has unique features when compared to other social networking site. In terms of design, it has a horizontal scroll which is first in India and second in the world and it is more useful in touch screen phones.

Youflik is built on technologies like PHP, HTML, Java script and My SQL. It has devised an easy-to-use interface with cutting-edge technologies like single page application through which loading time is completely cut down. We also want to experience more and hence by January we will come up with a mobile application, said Pradeep.

The Indian based social networking site has all required features like Timefeed, Timelog, My profile, cover image, status update, friends request, message, chat, post, like comment, flik (share) and others. Apart from these, it also has a unique feature called ‘streetside’ through which their idea is to explore street side shops and appreciate its presence in the digital world.

Youflik is an advertisement free site and the main USP is, we have ensured that the data will be within the Indian boundaries. The server of Youflik is located in Hyderabad and so far, investment worth almost Rs 1 crore is done, he added.

The team assuring more innovation in coming days believes that their 16000 user-base will touch a million unique users mark in 3 months duration.

Managing director Arjun Moras, founder, CEO Prithviraj Amin, his parents Sathish Kumar and Sujaya were present in the press meet.

    This is total bulls##t, i bet he has not written a single line of code, he is using an web-application called phpfox (@ www.phpfox.com). Am personally building a social networking site, i am writing codes for last 5 months, i know how complex these things are. And a 15 years old indian boy doing it, IMPOSSIBLE !

    MR. Abhijit where is social network.network. Didn't finish coding?1 year crossed man.I think you made a mistake my depreciating Prithvi Raj.He is a Indian.You Should have appreciated him.
