Udupi, Mar 13: It was a huge gathering, which speaks highly of the unity and integrity of the Mogaveera Community of undivided South Kanara.

On all counts, it was a mammoth convention of the Mogaveera community, with an interactive symposium on community-related issues.


The event was held on Sunday, March 12, 2006 in Shamili Hall,NH 17, Ambalpaady, Udupi. The event started with inauguration by well-known entrepreneur of the community G Shanker, with Mogaveera Youth Movement president Satish Amin Padukere presiding over.


State housing minister D T Jayakumar, Vittal Heroor, Kaup MLA Lalaji Mendon, Mogaveera Mahajana Sangha president Pramod Madhwaraj, former Udupi MLA U R Sabhapati, former international sportsperson Loknath Bolar and businessman from Kota Anand C Kunder.


Community entrepreneurs who were honoured on the occasion included Hotel Kidiyoor proprietor Bhuvanendra Kidiyoor, noted Mumbai businessmen Suresh Kanchan and Gopal Putran, amd Yogish Chandradhar (M Arch, AIIA, AITP, MISTE) - Mogaveera Young Achiever award.


The Mogaveera youth staged a string of spectacular cultural presentations.

A record crowd in excess of 15,000 from different parts of the undivided district took part in the event.

    a very well program organised by Mogaveera sangatane, I wish them to organise like this program again and again , so our community people meet each other. thanks for keeping unity.
