Mangalore: VHP, Bajrang Dal condemn cattle trafficking, slam government

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangalore (DV)

Mangalore, Jul 10: The Bajrang Dal and the VHP on Wednesday July 10 condemned the incidents of cattle trafficking in the region over the past few days and held the Congress government responsible for the rise in such incidents.

Jitendra Kottari, district president, Dharma Prachara Samithi, said, “After the Congress government came to power in the state, undivided Dakshina Kannada has witnessed illegal cattle trafficking and other nefarious activities like stealing of idols from temples and Basadis, which have hurt the sentiments of Hindus. VHP and Bajrang Dal severely condemn this.”

“Cattle trafficking is increasing at an alarming rate. Today, about 20 cows have been rescued near Ullal. After the formation of this government, there have been various attacks on Hindu sentiments," he added.

"The government should take bold steps to stop cattle trafficking immediately. If the government fails to take action against this, the VHP and Bajrang Dal will hold intense protests,” he warned.

Jagadish Shenava, working president, VHP, Sharan Pumpwell, division convener, Bajrang Dal, Gopal Kuthar, secretary, VHP, Bhujanga Kulal, district convener, Bajrang Dal, and Pradeep Pumpwell, district Gouraksha Pramukh, Bajrang Dal, were present on the occasion.

Firstly this cattle movements must be legalized. Also BD and VHP should concentrate on development and upliftment of human beings instead of animals. There are many hungry and orphaned human beings who should be attended to first.

My fathers bullock was stolen with the help of our Hindu neighbour who helped these thugs to take it way for little money for his drinks. Can you imagine such people around you. We have respect for the animals but do we really care them. As a Christian I don't even eat beef which makes me sad. I understand your pain but what can we do. We can't even protect the women from rapes in India who will protect the cows? So be peace lover and do good around helping one another do the better society and things will change for sure rather the guys in photos doing rowdy stuff is not good. Let the polic take care of the law order issues and you and me do some social work to make a better place for peace

Dear Naveen, These are not animals but bread and butter for a family. We have lost 2 cattles 3 days before. my family is in bad shape for losing two cattles not only for milk / money but also the love/affection they give these two animals when they were small. My brother daughter is not eating / sleeping because these two cattles not came back after grazing. this is not the story of only our family but you can check around and you will find yourselves the groud reality . without assessing the situation donot simply comment .It is happening and we need to stop. only BD and RSS can stop this and nobody else. Congress came to power and these things started once again. People who voted congis now cursing themselves now.

Congress is not smart enough to shut doors of bajarangis from raising this issue n stopping them from making it political/religious. Congress, if stops any form of cow-trafficking n cow stealing by taking strict action against cow-stealing racket, then Bajarangis have to run for another new controversial issue for survival. Bajarangis do not do any charity work, nor do they contribute in education, health sectors. They do not create employment opportunities for youth. They employ services of unemployed youth n mislead them by motivating them to carry out immoral activities.

Bajarangis main source of income is through Haftha collection n by threatening businessmen they collect money. For pleasure n leisure, Bajarangis enjoy alcohol, red meat, and women whenever they find chance. Communal issue is the only breadwinning strategy these goons thrive on. Congress should learn to mitigate this policy of bajarangis. It is time for congress to stop appeasing beef-eaters n find good people in all sections of society.

I would request the government to implement strict guidelines for transporting cattle or any other domestic animals including goats, pigs, chicken etc. It is inhuman and cruel to transport animals and cause them so much pain as they are are in no way capable of expressing it. As far as these BD goons are concerned it is better that they open shelters to take care of abandoned animals instead of creating problems. If any citizen sees any thing illegal happening, they should promptly call the police or the authorities. These goons have no business to take law into their own hands. If they dare to do so then citizens should trash them and teach them a sound lesson. If they have the right to take law into their own hands, then others also have the right to give them a sound trashing.

Bajarangis can not proclaim to be saviors of cow. These rogues are trying to play with emotions of people. Innocent hindus cant see the dirty game played by these bajarangis. These bajarangis wanted to be in limelight and cow-traffickers provided them with suitable publicity. Bajarangis wont leave a chance like this to polarize society in the name of religion. We must not heed to bajarangi way of thinking These rogues want take political advantage of the situation.

Congress government is acting like fool by not taking strict action against cow-traffickers. This will make Bajarangis to search for some other opportunity. Here congress will loose badly in the hands of bajarangis. Bajarangis tried to take political mileage out of Manipal rape case by pretending to be moral guardians of society. But that stand taken by bajarangis backfired as the culprits were given basic elementary education in bajarangi organisation.

Unless cow-traficking is stopped completely, bajarangis will shine always.

Answer this and then talk about sentiments. But its great to see you telling that YOU'LL WILL HOLD INTENSE PROTEST henceforth. Good that you came to know the present govt wont let you do moral policing so easily. And continue your protest, its a free country after all and you have a right to speech, not a right to TORTURE.

First they create trouble. Then they protest against the same trouble as if it was done by someone else to win the support of majority. Look at Manipal rape case. The rapists were paid agents of BD. Then BD protested to accuse Congress failure to catch the accused. Now, they transported cattle, dead and alive. The accused transporters escaped. Next day they call press conference & threaten govt. of holding protests. By hook or crook they want to retain moral policing power and need support of people. Mr. BDs, now the people are educated and understand your tactics. You can not fool Kannadigas. We are wise. Be within your limit and find job to survive and support your aged parents who are above all Gods.

One of the promises of BJP in the 2008 assembly election manifesto was a ban on cow slaughter(perhaps they have promised this time too).Despite they were in power for full five years why they failed to ban cow slaughter? Is it just because Governor/president did not sign the bill? The real reason is there was no will power to implement a ban on cow slaughter(It is not a secret that there are Beef eaters in BJP/BD/VHP/Rama sene too).Don't do it when your govt.is in power and bark 'Hindutva' when a secular govt. is ruling. and the rest of the nation condemns the rape of innocent women being done by the Bajrang Dal and VHP in the name of protecting them .... these BJ and VHP have very little to give back to INDIA our great nation... the only thing they can do is protect cows and interfere in other's personal issues. If they have to rule this great nation with their pea brains... God have mercy on us.

As usual made up trafficking of cattle - they are so good at it now. Those who believe these guys are real duf....
Those thieves are those vagabonds and jobless people who are suddenly short of funds from their masters.

Home minister pls note these things and clip their activities right in the beginning.

I would like to request VHP and BD
If u have time pls. put lines in our main signal because lack of proper line in our main road.

people are walking in the main road, all shop in main road, all the taxi parking in main road.

only u can solve this problem.

I hope instead of interfering other things better do some good job for putting lines in the road.

god will bless u and ur family.

it is rather difficult to comprehend what you actually want those VHP\BD people to do.

As per your write up, all shops are on the main Road, Taxis\vehicles parked on the main road!! are they parked on the shops that are on the road?
Then where do you want them to "put" those lines?!!!
Give them some easier job first.
Then before handing\asking them to do this job, clear all obstacles first, then ask them to line the road however you want.

Illegal cattle trafficking was not new as said by Bajarangis. It was under 20/20(BJP-JDS) under 50/50(JDS-CONGRESS) and under 90 over test match(BJP GOVT).Stealing in temples/Basadies or masjids are not only hurting the feeling of BD but civilized society also has feeling.Ultimatum to govt is nothing but inviting trouble for said ORG(SIDDU said so)!!What amuses me that even after state-of-the-art network by BD, the illegal cattle trafficking continues as business usual.RTO must impound the passenger vehicle for good.
