The premier show was held in Dubai at Galleria Cineplex, Hyatt Regency, at 4.30 pm. Sponsors and prominent personalities including Karnoor Mohan Rai, who bought the rights of the movies for Mumbai and Gulf were present during the show. Praveen Shetty, Harish Sherigar, Frank Fernandes, Daya Kiriodian, Satish Poojary, Irshad Udupi and C R Shetty were present during a brief stage programe held during the interval. Frank Fernandes and C R Shetty spoke on the occasion.

Mohan Rai said that the four shows (two in Dubai, one each in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi) received overwhelming response and were total sell-outs even before the release. "This is the first time that a Tulu movie has been presented through satellite system, unlike in the past where the movie reel was brought," he said.

In Abu Dhabi, the movie was shown at Elderado Cinema at 4.30 pm, in Sharjah at Star Complex at 6 pm and in Al Quoz at 7 pm.

The movie was based on Kapikad's hit drama 'Gantethand' featuring Kapikad himself along with Naveen Padil, Bojaraj Vamanjoor, Aravind Bolar, Arjun Kapikad, Ashritha Shetty and others.

Dear Shivaraj, your comments are well received. However, I am sure Mr. Subash Pai, never meant to hurt the sentiments. He is just showing the superiority of this movie, and adding a "Telike" to the "Telike da Bolli" Pls.don't take it in its literal meaning.
    Add your Telikes pls.
    Thoroughly enjoyed the show.

Dear all I went to get a ticket from pillar to post from the moment it was announced and surprised to know the show was booked already. I dont want to mention the place which i visited. However this kind of shows better to film in Indian High School auditorium, so people can get an equal opportunity. This event was totally fixed.
