Mangalore, Jun 7: A tree uprooted at Gorigudde here on Friday June 7 due to heavy rain, resulting in traffic jam in the area.

The tree also fell on an electric pole causing it to dislocate, however, no injuries were reported.

The electricity in the area has been affected as a result of the incident.

Mescom officials arrived at the spot to undertake repair works.

The traffic is moving at a snail's pace, with vehicles having to negotiate their way through the narrow space on the other side of the road.

While widening the road entire soil below the tree removed and roots already came up so it is as simple as while heavy raining trees base too came up (up roots tree down)
