Bangalore: Sonia Gandhi to campaign in Mangalore on Apr 26

Daijiworld Media Network - Bangalore

Bangalore, Apr 14: As the race for power gets hotter in Karnataka, political parties are putting their best foot forward to ensure that they get the maximum attention of the voters.

As announced earlier, the 'trinity' of Indian National Congress - president Sonia Gandhi, vice-president Rahul Gandhi and Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh will be visiting the state and campaigning during the last week of April and first week of May.

Singh will campaign for a day while the mother-son duo will campaign for three days.

All three will address public rallies only in major towns, he said.

Speaking to reporters here on Sunday April 14, KPCC president Dr Parameshwar said that Sonia Gandhi will be campaigning in Mangalore on April 26, and so also in Chikmagalur.

Sonia Gandhi will address rallies at Chikmagalur and Mangalore on April 26, at Gulbarga and Belgaum on April 30, and at Mysore on May 2, Parameshwar said.

Rahul Gandhi will campaign at Bellary, Raichur and Bijapur on April 23, at Kolar, Tumkur and Haveri on April 28, and in Mysore, Hassan and Shimoga on May 1.

Singh will address meetings at Hubli and Bangalore on April 29.

Good to know that top party people from Delhi are visiting Karnataka for election campaign. Please plan well to utilise the services of these people judiciously to gear up the voters and lift up the party image as well.Sri.Krishnaji's involvement is very important sice he is the life line of the party in the state and know the pulse of the people of the state extreemly well.Hope, the state unit of the party handles this issue sensibly and lead the state for thumbing Congress victory this year.Thanq

Dear Sonia, your visit will not make any impression on us. We Mangaloreans every one knows Congress is most corrupt party and BJP/JD etc etc are lacking strong leadership and fighting for the seat. If you need our votes, first bring Swiss money to India and develop Mangalore's infrastructure. Otherwise your visit will be a waste in your journey.

BJP is a party with difference they can teach you what is hunger for power and corruption in ways never heard of before. Consider communal hatred , what harm has any minority community done to BJP, that they should talk on only vendetta, harm and destruction? PA R TY with a lot of difference indeed!!!!!!!!
