Mangalore, Feb 17: "The Karnataka Janata Party (KJP) has been officially registered and gazette notified by the election commission. Hence an individual who contests in the elections under KJP will belong to KJP, and no third person who is not with KJP can claim to be part of the party,” said Dhananjaya Kumar, state secretary, KJP.

Addressing a press meet at Woodlands here on Sunday February 17, he made this remark in apparent reference to the controversy over 'founder' of KJP Padmanabha Prasanna getting expelled by party president Yeddyurappa for 'anti-party activities' recently.

“We are sure that KJP will achieve much in the upcoming elections. Former chief minister of the state D V Sadananda Gowda has been neglected in the BJP and he is likely to join JD(S) in the coming days. This would be a plus point for KJP as well," he said.

"The selection of candidates for the upcoming elections in all parties is in progress, and so also in KJP. Many experienced candidates in several parties are being neglected and if such people are willing to join KJP, they are most welcome,” he said.

“Some strong hidden forces are acting supreme over the administration of the DK district. KJP will work hard to remove such forces. DK district KJP committee has been formed with a view to strengthen the party’s work in the district,” he added.

Kadekar Ravindra Shetty has been selected as the district president. Gokuldas Bhandary, Lawrence D’Souza, Shivappa Pacchanady, Haji Abdul Khader, Bhaskar Rao and Ashok Kumar Jain are chosen the vice-presidents; Bhaskar Poojary, Aboobaker Kairangala and Guruchandra Hegde as chief secretaries, Lakshmeesh, Ramdas Acharya, Ravindra Uppanthaya, Vittal Salian, Devaki Poojary and Shivashankar Kalladka as secretaries, Srinivas Shetty Narya as treasurer, Haji Hammed Kandak as media coordinator and Sooryanarayana Rao as party office secretary. Kiran Shetty will be the president of youth wing, Jyothika Jain will be the women’s wing president and Hammed Kudroli will be the minority wing president, he informed.

Ramachandra Baikampady, Ravindra Shetty, Yogish Kumar Jeppu, Mariamma Thomas among others were present.

Dhananjay, when you were high with power, you told Muslims to go to Pakistan and Catholics to Europe. Now I see many minority people are inducted in your KJP. Now, why don't you give the same statement Dhannu ? 'Bhag Dhannu, KJP ka ijjat ka sawaal hai. Waqt aane per Gadhe ko baap banana koi tumse sikey'.

Well said Mr. M.H.Rasheed, KSA. DVS is a gentleman in wrong party, that is why he could not retain his chair. KJP is unworthy for this gentleman, neither BJP. He should join Congress and work hard to maintain peace, harmony and unity among all Kannadigas without bringing religion & caste in between. He was studied in a very reputed college and has imbibed very pleasing manners. Jai ho Mr. Sadananda Gowda.

Progressive minded Hindus who want the GenNext to reach great heights than they should quit the radically charged Sangh Parivar like BJP, BD, VHP and the cartoon's Rama Sene. They have in front of them many other parties that are not communal because any communal party has no future.
Please don't fear God, instead love God and God's creation including co-human being around us.
Hatred breeds more hatred and that will destroy the society as a whole. We cannot make one section of the community grow on the expense of others. Only inclusive growth will bring in overall growth. Even the world has realised it.
Either reform or perish. Jai Hind!

DVS is a thorough gentle man.
He had blessings, BJP was compelled to make him C.M. though he didn't ask for it.
DVS did well as C.M. but was pushed out, and then BJP's down fall started.

BYS came under curses, he didn't wanted, but had to relinquish C.M. Post, he worked for it most, partly through operation Kamala, Reddy Money(Mines)

This is called blessings and curses. Power will not benefit without God's blessings for it should be acquired in ethical means. If acquired or retained in unethical means Power will do more HARM than GOOD.Results have been seen, in a matter of time!
DVS will retain his blessings wherever he goes as long as he is good!

I don't think Mr Sadananda Gowda will make the mistake of leaving BJP to join JDS.It will be like from frying pan to fire.Bjp's image actually has been ruined badly by Yediyurappa and few other corrupt people. Now the non corrupt MLA's with good track record and integrity like Mr.Yogesh Bhat must rebuild the party with good Image. It will be easy for them if they are not aiming at "power at any cost" to save Karnataka.

When Election Code of Conduct being forced,we don't know who will represent which party.Yes,DVS was sidelined right from the day of his dethroning to till.I don't think he may desert mother party but it likely he may distance active business of party for a while to watch and wait.

IT IS PATHETIC AFFAIRS OF KARNATAKA THAT 1)BSY WAS A PROBLEM-REMOVED
    2)ISH HAVING DISSENT.......
    3)DVS HAS DISSENT..........
    4).........................
    5).........................
    6)SHOBHA WAS A HURDELE..QUIT!

BUT STILL DISSENT AND GROUP FIGHTING NOT YET CONTROLLED!!!!WHY THIS KOLAVERY,A PARTY WHICH CAME IN TO POWER IN DAKSHIN INDIA FIRST TIME EVER!!!IF THEY CONTINUE ...MAY THIS PARTY REMAIN INTACT???A MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION.Therefore, this Assembly election please vote intelligently for a change and progressive and sustainable rule with out interruptions for stipulated five years.

KJP development is ok acceptable. but it is better not to join the film actress like rakshitha/pooja gandhi which ruins the party sure. You can take it as a challenge. They may jump any time to other party where they have more opportunity to exposure(expose) than power.
