Mangalore: Police nab man wanted for gold, car theft

Mangalore, Feb 17:
Police on Friday February 15,  arrested a person  accused of stealing 45 gms of gold from a woman in Kerala.

The accused has been identified as Zahid Abbas, who hails from Bengre. As per the information obtained, Zahid stole two cars, one from Car Street in Mangalore and one from Kerala.

The police have also stated that Zahid hit the woman with the car stolen from Kerala and then stole gold from her.

He is also involved in four other cases—two in Bunder, one in Pandeshwar, and one in Kerala.

Zahid was produced in court on Friday by the Barke police.
