UAE, Indonesia to cooperate against drug trafficking


Abu Dhabi, Feb 17 (IANS/WAM): Anti-narcotics agencies of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Indonesia have agreed to maintain a round the clock channel for sharing information and enhancing joint coordination to combat drug trafficking.

The decision was taken at a meeting between Colonel Saeed Al Suwaidi, director general of Anti-Narcotics Department of UAE's interior ministry and Arman Depari, director in the narcotics division of Indonesia's National Police Detective Agency.
