Mangalore: Airport officials arrest passenger with fake passport

Mangalore, Feb 5: A man was arrested at Mangalore International Airport on Monday February 4 for allegedly trying to leave the country using a fake passport.

The arrested has been identified as Veerappa Sathish (47) from Kasaba Hoballi in Hassan.

As per the information obtained, Sathish used the passport number of Basavaraj of Bangalore and attached his photo and name to it. He was caught by immigration officials in the airport.

K M Chandrashekar, immigration officer has filed a complaint in Bajpe police station.
