Mangalore: 'Telikeda Bolli' Tulu Movie Opens to Packed House

Mangalore, Dec 6: The much-awaited Tulu movie 'Telikeda Bolli', starring comedy trio Devadas Kapikad, Naveen D Padil and Aravind Bolar, was released at Central Talkies here on Thursday December 6.

The venue was literally jam-packed, with a sea of people thronging the theatre to enjoy the laughter riot that the film promises to deliver.

The movie was released symbolically by lighting the lamp by the film crew. President of Billawa Balaga Dubai and Yakshagana artiste Sudhakar Thumbe was present.

Almost the entire crew including Kapikad, director P H Vishwanath, producers Sudhir Kamath and Sharmila Kapikad, actors Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Gopinath Bhat, Bojaraj Vamanjoor, Karnoor Mohan Rai, and others were present.

The rest of the cast includes Saikrishna M, D S Boloor, Laxman Kumar Mallur, Rama BC Road, Thimmappa Kulal, Suresh Kulal, Sadashiv Amin, Sandeep Shetty, Sathish Bandale, Pandurang Adyar, Karunakar Saripalla, Harish Vasu Shetty (Mumbai), Pradeep Alva, Mohan Koppala, Agnel Rodrigues, Richard Pinto, Dayanand Amin, Vaishali Shetty, Sarojini Shetty, Vinny Fernandes and others.

Addressing reporters on the occasion, Devadas Kapikad lauded the crew, the director and producers for their efforts and said that they had done a commendable job. "All the actors in the movie have given their best and delivered splendid performances," he said, showering praise on the cameramen and rest of the crew also.

He also expressed hopes that the audience would like the movie and show their support.

Kapikad's son Arjun plays the male lead while Ashritha Shetty is the heroine.

In Mangalore, the movie has been released in Central, Jyothi and Big Cinemas while in Udupi, the movie will be screend at Kalpana theatre. Radhika theatre in Karkala, Bharath in Beltangady and Amarashree in Moodbidri will also screen the movie.

    I watched thelikeda bolli first show,Good movie, Par excellent acting by Mr.Gopinath Bhat.even navin did his job good, Mr.Sudheir Kamath should produce more and more tulu movie...Our TULUWOOD/ karavliwood should shine in international level.One must watch movie for Naveen d padil, Bojraj, sai & Last but not least Mr.Gopinath bhat.
