Udupi: Free Medical Check-up Camp Held at Nirmala Higher Primary School

Udupi, Dec 5: ICYM, Stree Sanghtan, Catholic Sabha of Holy Family Church Brahmavar in association with CSI Lombard Memorial Hospital Udupi and with the support of Nagarika Ayrogya Vedikke Udupi jointly organized one-day free medical check-up camp recently in Nirmala Higher Primary School.

Fr Antony Vaz, parish priest of Holy Family Church inaugurated the camp by lighting the lamp.

Dr Ratish Johnson, director of CSI Hospital Udupi, Dr Pradeep Varnekar, Dr M K Kamath, Dr Sannath S Rao, Marina Rodrigues, principal of Lombard Nursing School Udupi and other were present on the dais.

Dr Ratish Johnson gave few tips to maintain good health.  Sannath S Rao of Nagarika Vedikke gave a presentation.

Laveeta D’Silva conducted the CPR program and gave few guidelines on how to act and save a person’s life when he suffers a heart attack.

Onival Lewis welcomed the gathering. Jeevan Lewis proposed the vote of thanks and Reshma Soares compered the program.

More than 100 people benefitted from the camp.
