Kundapur, Nov 23: The annual parish feast of St Philip Neri Church, Basrur was held on Wednesday November 21. The festal Mass took place at 10 am.

Fr Anil Dsouza, parish priest of Kundapur was the main celebrant and the preacher. He gave an inspiring homily on the theme ‘Lively faith and bring the families together’.

Co celebrant Fr Xavier Pinto, parish priest St Antony Church, Kerekatte, and all the deanery priests of Kundapur Varado were present for the Eucharistic celebration.

The church was packed with devotees. Lively liturgy, heart touching and melodious singing and ‘St Philiph Neri Band’ Koni added joy to the celebration. The parish ICYM and YCS put up games and made it fun for the crowd.

Fr Vishal Lobo, parish priest of Basrur thanked celebrant and the devotees. Vice president of parish council Afred coth offered flowers to Fr Anil D’Souza as a token gratitude.

In the evening cultural programme was followed.
