Mangalore: Sandeep Malani's 'Janleva 555' to Release on Nov 2

Mangalore, Oct 30: New Hindi movie 'Janleva 555', directed by Sandeep Malani and produced by Kalpana Pandith will be released on November 2 at Adlabs Big Cinemas, Bharath Mall here.

Addressing a press meet here on Tuesday October 30, Sandeep Malani said that the film has been shot entirely in Karnataka in the beautiful locales of Bangalore, Madhugiri, Tumkur and Coorg.

"The entire crew and cast of the movie are from Karnataka. Hence the movie is being relesed in celebration of Kannada Rajyotsava," he said.

The film is the first of its kind with 15 songs, of which six are Hindi, three English and the rest are instrumental tracks.

Nine music directors have been introduced in the movie, namely Dev Chauhan, Ameya Naik,
Faizal Hussain, Agnel Roman, Yug Bhusal, Nishanth Varghese, Rahul Mehalwal, Lokesh and Prakash along with two American music composers Mike Paul Hughes and Bradley G Janke.

Kalpana Pandith is the lead heroine of the film. Veteran Kannada actor Ananth Nag makes a comeback in the Hindi film industry after 20 years. Ten newcomers have also been introduced in the movie.

Being a die hard fan of Sridevi, he has dedicated this film to her. Sridevi herself has watched the movie and appreciated Sandeep.

A song in the movie has been dedicated completely to filmmaker the late Yash Chopra. The film is also a tribute to Harmesh Malhotra’s 'Nagina' and 'Nigahen'.

The movie was released in Mumbai on October 19 and is awaiting its release in Mangalore.

The film has been shot in 32 days with Canon 5D camera and three cameramen.

"'Janleva 555' is a complete entertainer, comprising songs, dance, fun, comedy, sentiments, thrill, horror, suspense, drama, romance and action," said Sandeep.

Hailing from Mangalore, Sandeep Malani has also directed movies like 'SMS 6260' and 'Miss California' and two short films 'Jo Jo Laali' and 'Shaayad'. He also worked as associate director in the National Award winning film 'I AM'. 'Janleva 555' is his first Hindi movie.

    Mangalore is such a unique place where so many languages are spoken and most people are conversant with so many languages. Most Mangloreans can speak Kannada, Tulu, Konkani, Hindi and English with many understanding Marathi and Malayalam. Mangloreans surprisingly speak and learn good Hindi and Marathi too. We have Hindus, Christians , Muslims and Jains sharing similar culture.

    Mr Sandeep Malani best of luck.Since quite sometime 'JANLEVA555's clipping,upto date information have been shared in the Facebook by you.Since entire film shot in Karnataka/crews are Kannadigas and lead role done by Kannada based Kalpana Pandith(producer) together with Ananth Naag, besides 9 music directors were debuted in this film I think, Kannadiga will curious to watch this film.Good luck..
