Greetings to all our fellow mangaloreans . On behalf of the entire team of the tulu film "Rampa" . We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported us through the production of the film. We have decided to change the title of Rampa to avoid hurting the sentiments of the family members of the legend. In any case our film never intended to be related to the legend himself or anyone related.

As. For the Hindi song in this film, every movie comes with a script and storyline. Our film wasn't any different hence just one Hindi song input. To add more clarity lets all just head to the cinemas to watch the same . We have changed the name of the film with all respect to the legend. I hope this sorts most of your queries and hope for a better than ever response for a tulu film to promote our people united in this region of ours. Thank you

The should change the title of the movie.. because it is making fun of the great mangalorian personality Kankanady j Ramappa poojary( known Kankanady RAMAPPANNE), The upper class people always try to down through the popularity of Backward class persons. daijiworld itself has published a article on Rampanna.. SO PLEASE STOP THIS KIND ATTITUDE.

Why have a Hindi or English song in a Tulu movie ? Let us be proud of our language and region. But I have noticed a difference between the Tulu spoken by the Bunts and Tulu spoken by the Billawas. The Bunt Tulu is very harsh and without respect esp. when spoken to the less fortunate. The Billawa Tulu is mellow and sweet. If i'm wrong , please accept my apologies. This is my personal observation.

    Dear Friends,
Please dont compare thi film with our Great Rampanna( Raj Kamal), he was one of the greatest leaders of Billawa Comunity and he was generous, a great man. There are many people by name Rama, Ramappa....so on ..their nick name is Rampa. So let us not insult the people..that too good human beings. The name given as Rampa is their choice, let them do it and wish them all the best, expecting it will not hurt any community, people of Tulunadu....
