It's a Boy for Shilpa Shetty


Mumbai, May 21 (IANS): Actress Shilpa Shetty, who was due to deliver next month, gave birth to a boy Monday morning, her businessman husband Raj Kundra announced.

"God has blessed us with a beautiful baby boy. Both mother and baby are fine... Both mum and Baby K are resting. I am thrilled to bits!!!!!!" an ecstatic Kundra tweeted.

"A big thank you to my wife @TheShilpaShetty for the bestest gift ever, Dr. Kiran Cohelo and all the staff at Hinduja Hospital! Thank you all for your love and wishes for our new born," he further posted.

Shilpa married London-based Raj in 2009. The actress announced her pregnancy in December last year.

The couple was stormed with congratulatory messages from actors like Bipasha Basu and R. Madhavan.
