Police department of District deserves accolades for arresting them @ gunpoint. This is the case of HAFTA/Extortion/Quotation Gang of Udupi/DK.

As far registration of Vehicle concerned, second hand/sparingly used cars and other vehicles could be procured cheaper price from Banagalore. We can see lot of Bangalore registered vehicle plying in DK/Udipi.

"Its number plate (KA 05 D 2044) suggests that it was registered in Bangalore South, but on the number plate is the word 'Kambalabettu', which leads to the suspicion that the registration number may be a fake."
Not a wise statement. Having Bangalore registration and writing some names related to D.K & Udupi is common because After buying used cars from Bangalore the car registration number remains unchanged.
