Mangalore: Inter-parish Cricket Tourney Held at Angelore Church Grounds

Mangalore, Apr 18: Angelore Ground Friends (AGF) organized inter-parish under arm 60 yard cricket tournament on Sunday April 15 at Angelore church grounds. In this tournament, as many as 30 parishes in and around Mangalore participated.

Bondel parish team emerged as the winner of the tournament and Merlapadav parish team was the runner-up. Individual prizes were given to ‘best batsman’, ‘best bowler’ and ‘man of the series’ for their extraordinary performances.

The vicar of Angelore church Fr Mathew Vas, parish council vice-president Albert Lasrado and main organizer of the tournament Alwyn D’Silva presided over the prize distribution ceremony.
