Mumbai: U D Palan of Billawar Association Vasai Local Committee Passes Away

Mumbai, Apr 12: Sixty-nine-year-old U D Palan, former secretary of Vasai local committee of metro-based Billawar Association, passed away at Manipal Hospital following a brief illness on Wednesday April 11.

Palan hailed from Uppoor, near Kallianpur in Udupi district, and retired after working with Philips India Limited.  He is survived by his wife and one son.

Billawar Association honorary president Y Nagesh, president Jaya C Suvarna, Bharat Co-operative Bank chairman Vasudev R Kotian, honorary chief secretary Jyoti K Suvarna, and Vasai local committee members expressed condolences on the demise of Palan.
