Bangalore, May 18 (PTI) A 27-year-old fashion designer allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from ceiling fan at her apartment in Ulsoor near here, police said.
The deceased, identified as Ruchi Shandilya, was married to Prashant Kumar, working as a consultant in a private firm.
Both were natives of Katihar village in Bihar, police sources said.
"The duo who were married for the past three years, were not only neighbours but family friends. Theirs was a love marriage," they said.
Ruchi ended her life yesterday when Prashant was away for work, the police said.
A suicide note left behind by the deceased said, "My husband is a good man. Please do not trouble him."
According to Prashant, Ruchi was "a very hot tempered person who used to fight for small things".
