very bad even after doing all the drama, thinking they were in majority and trying to disturb peace in calm mangalore, but still minority scores. Atleast nw stop Ur drama and work work or the progress of the City. Dont get fraustrated and fight against minorities now, but rather help each other for building a peaceful mangalore.

@Shastri, it is strange but true that real threat for a religion does not come from outside but comes from within. When a religion breeds fundamentalists then it is a threat to religion itself. A time may come, when the temples may become shopping malls when people lose their faith and devotion to God. It is a real threat. Do not fear that parties can root out Hinduism. If so, Hinduism would have been wiped out during Mogul rule or British rule. Do not think that BJP is the saviour of Hinduism. They need your vote because they can get the power. That's the political gimmick and gullible people fall prey to them.

Jossey Saldanha, Mapusa in other places like Bantwal BJP has got absolute majority in this elections and also in Beltangady BJP performed well. Mangalore BJP lost but not too far behind from congress. Out of 14 seats congress bagged 6, BJP 4, JDS 3 and others 1 seats.

The problem here is Non Hindus who vote for Congress is good for them and BJP is bad. Hindus who vote for BJP feels Congress is here to root out Hinduism and promote Islam first and Christianity the second ( actual minors like Jains , Sikhs, Buddhist, Parsis who are less than 1% of total coutry population is not counted as minors because .. their votes do not count to make council of ministers). Now there is very minors who strongly feels we need a party who is good for our country , our planet and whole of human race is never counted. (we are untouchables in the country).
