In the picture, Sadananda Gowda represents a typical Indian politician with an artificial smile, couple of golden rings, etc, whichever party they belong to. |

Honey bees are active at certain time, sting everyone next to them, and then fall dead. Same as these Political candidates, scattered all over stinging everyone for vote. After election, they fall dead. Congress member came to door with "HAND" and asked Me to reach it. I thought atleast I can wash my hand after reaching that dirty corrupt "HAND".
Then came the BJP member with beautiful "LOTUS" and wants to reach it. I looked at that lovely flower standing in the middle surrounded by slush of corruption, communal hatred and Religious and gender bias. To reach that flower, I had to walk through slush of corruption, communal hatred,Religious and gender bias. So in a way at least dirty hand is better than beautiful Lotus, that is my thinking. |

Dear Shahnawaz Kukkikatte, You requested not to compare Sadananda Gowda to the beggar but I request you and all the readers not to compare this beggar to Sadananda Gowda, for that matter any politician. These beggars may be much purer at heart. It is indeed an extra-ordinary, mind - boggling picture.
I do not see this picture as a comparison between Sadananda Gowda and a beggar, rather I see it as a comparison between an Indian politician Vs a beggar. In the picture, Sadananda Gowda represents a typical Indian politician with an artificial smile, couple of golden rings, etc, whichever party they belong to.
I would like to list out the similarities between the two:
1. Both are not bothered about the existence of each other, though they are standing next to each other. Politician is not bothered because he knows this beggar’s name will not be there in the voter’s list and the beggar is not bothered because he knows for sure that these politicians will not do anything for them, not even throw a rupee coin in their begging bowl. 2. Both are begging, one for vote for his political survival while the other is begging for his physical survival. 3. Both are expressing feelings, politician has blown up his face with an artificial smile fantasizing about the Parliament seat while the beggar is scared and anxious that what will happen if he doesn’t get his daily collection. In the case of politician, there is miles of distance between his face and heart whereas this beggar’s face and his heart is one and the same. 4. Both are wearing something on their shoulders, for politician it may be required to show that he belongs to a particular party whereas for the beggar it may be the only belonging. Though there are so many similarities between the two, there is a striking difference between the two. The beggar will come for begging everyday whereas the politician will turn up next only after five years.
Astonishingly, we, the so called civilized people of the society ,respect these politicians and rubbish the cries of vulnerable people around us. That is life!!! |

Who is beggar in the above pics...The first pic a person next to him treat him as a senior citizen and he may be a hard worker for daily wages and you cant and have no right to call anyone a beggar...This shows your attitude towards humanity..First respect others inorder to recieve the same respect back... |

| Dear Mr.shahnawaz kukkikatte, your comment is really harsh. It is a shame if DVS has been called as begger ,but its really shame for begger to compare him with dual faced politicians ,, after all, the begger is begging for his daily bread and he is too is a human being like us and he too has feelings. not only DVS , What is alarming is the corruption in millions of rupees swallowed by the politicians who only show their face during elections. Please rephrase your statement. |

We need BJP now more than any time in the post independence period of India for the following reasons: Security - In spite of being integral part of India since independence, the state of Jammu and Kashmir is still terrorized by the terror groups like LeT, Taliban, SIMI, etc. These terror groups have systematically driven Hindus, Christians, Sikhs, Jains, and Buddhists from J & K over a period of time. The majority of the population of J & K supports these terror groups directly or indirectly and don’t have any sense of belonging to India.
The J & K would have been secular state like other states in India but for policies of Congress. Conversions performed by foreign missionaries – The intention of these missionaries may be good e.g., helping/converting poor people (Dalits) but with devastating side effects of polarizing whole communities (especially Hindus and Christians) across India. The best examples are states of Orissa and now Karnataka. |

| Some of the comments are very harsh against DVS. DVS is a human being like us and he too has feelings. He is trying his best to convert votes to his favour and he is right in that. Its upto the voters to decide. Please dont compare DVS to the beggar. It is too rude and uncultured. We should respect human beings as human beings. Then only we can spread love and stop hatred and build a plural India. |

Mr. Raj, Mangalore does not like an idea of calling a begger a begger…Rather he thinks people should not have called him a begger and would treated him with dignity. If Mr. Raj lives in Mangalore, I would urge this gentleman to go and meet one of those beggers and let us all know how wealthy they are. Inspite of they being capable of finding work for themselves, they choose this easy way of earning money by fooling public.
I have heard and read a true story of a millionaire begger of mumbai, who owns three flats which he got through Govt allocation for the poor and has given them for rent and getting a handsome amount as rent and saves 5 times more than a regualr bank officer, who still begs in the moving trains in Mumbai. Also I wish the likes of Mr. Raj would have understood, the difference between organized crime and Rape that happnes in all parts of India, rather all over the world.
Rape is a force against one's will, and Terrorism and Attrocities against the minorities are a organized crime by some group to persue their own hidden interests in the society.Government does not sponsor Rape against women, but Govt may sponsor the hatred and communal disharmony against a particular sect in the society.
This is like paying for all the expenses for the communal disharmony. I wish you differentiate these things and think as a general public rather than thinking by wearing one particular party Cap. |
