Daijiworld Media Network—Mangalore (RS/CN)

Mangalore, Apr 28: With just one day to go before the election campaigning in the city ends, the BJP conducted a road show as part of their campaign on Monday April 27.

BJP candidate for Dakshina Kannada constituency Nalin Kumar Kateel and other party leaders campaigned through this road show conducted on vehicles.

MLA Yogish  Bhat, district-in-charge minister Krishna Palemar, mayor Shankar Bhat and other leaders participated in this event.

Speaking to media persons before the road show, Palemar said, “The BJP is fully confident of victory and has campaigned well in the constituency. The state government’s development works will be the trump card that will bring victory”.

He also said that the voters of Dakshina Kannada are waiting to see the NDA government at the centre.

The show started from the party’s election office at Bunts Hostel, and passed through various city streets.

Mr. Roshan D’Sa, Moodbidri – As a minority community, you are praising BJP and requesting minorities to vote for BJP. During the cruel attacks on women, girls, minors and warship places, where you been? Now, you are acting like a BJP’s fortune teller and praising BJP? Shame on you on behalf of all the minority communities.

Dear Roshan D'Sa -Moodbidri, You have not experienced the pain of systematic hate campaigns against the christians by the BJP and Bajrangdal activists. Forget about future by Political party , first of all we want Political parties to respect the constitutional rights of all the citizens of this country. BJP which defied the SUpreme COurt by demolishing BABRI Masjid can do anything. First of all let them give up RELIGION based politics and function as a responsible National Party which just focuses on developing INDIA, encouraging all citizens irrespective of religious faiths. You don't understaND THE trauma in which present children grow up. IF BABRI masjid was not broken there would not have been a trace of terriorism in INDIA. NOW our churches are attacked, our priests and nuns are persecuted , how can we think positive of this party.

Mr. Roshan, you deserves a standing ovation for your comments. Minorities diverting themselves away from saffron party will make BJP more communal. If you prefers Cong than BJP you can vote for Congress, but don't spread hatred.

Well said Roshan. Views like yours can only unite people.Appreciate good things no matter which party it is and condemn wrong things. That is true secularism. Don't get biased against for whatever done by one party. We need to talk ground realities.I think other should learn from you.

Well...I would request my fellow Christian Community...Just be patient...Wht the congress did for us all these yrs??. I dont think BJP has done anything bad?? Mangalore took shape after BJP came in Mlore... yeah some stray incidents happned but did it not happen nce cong was ruling??? when the communal violence happened in 1998?? was BJP in Power in Karnataka? I prpefer not to involve oursleves in these and give time to Adv and Yed govt and see wht willl happen.. its not harm..As a minority...we shall notthink as wht muslims do....We shll keep peace and not spread hatred....All Hindus in this column are pro BJP.. tht means our hatred polarises Hindus.. and tht is wht happened in Mangalore.. I feel this is why BJP is a default winner....and Cong until it thinks only of Minorities it cant win Mnagalore..So we shall not be the demon among hindus and stress them to vote in favour of BJP. I cant see any future with Janardahn poojary who is a afalse mouth... He is well knwn for tht... so he cant enjoy any better this time too... he will be packed up....I see very systematic way of campaigning from BJP which Cong cant do... factionalism is dominating there....they will see it on 16th... I wish Nalin ji who has got good name in our area.. i think he will get thumbs up in Moodbidri area n belthangady ....which will sail him...to victory...

Mr George Cruz/USA, inside terrorism is more dangerous than outside terrorism. UPA handled the 26/11 issue very confidently and succeeded in bringing pressure on Pak. UPA did everything, but war. Thats fair and reasonable. War is not the solution, on the contrary war would have prompted more terror attacks. BJP, by its policies and hidden agenda of one India/hindutva promoting terror and attacking places of worship of other faiths. Its dividing the community on religious lines. Its only agenda is to alienate minorities and administer social injustice to them. They dont look at Indian muslims/christians as Indians/humans. For them we are aliens and India does not belong to us and it belongs only to them. This agenda shall lead to blood shed and there shall be street fights/burning of houses which may become order of the day. I dont have a choice but to support a more secular national party only in the interest of future peaceful India.

Hope the BJP rises to the occasion and becomes the party of majority and serves the National Interests. With the eminent fall of banana republic Pakistan, India has to be ready to deal with new wave of terrorism coming from ruthless/murderous groups like Taliban, LeT, SIMI, etc. I don’t see any other viable party right now which can keep India strong, prosperous, secular and serve the interests of majority of its citizens.
