Mangalore: Center Responsible for Hubli Court Bomb Blast: DV Sadanand Gowda
Special Political Correspondent - Daijiworld

Mangalore: “The blasts occurred at Hubli Court signifies a black mole on assembly election and exposes union government's inability to curb terrorism across the nation that has resulted in the Hubli court blast.” said BJP state president and MP Sadanand Gowda.

Speaking to media persons at BJP office, here on Sunday May 11, he said that Hubli is the strong base of the BJP. Owing to the inability of the center to tackle the terror activities effectively, the voters have to cast their votes under fear, he told.

Karnataka has become a safe heaven for terrorists, that has been closely linked with Glasgow blast and the blast took place in Hyderabad recently. The college campuses have become avenues to recruit terrorists. Therefore, this calls for the center to deal with the terrorists and their associates without mercy, he urged.

The strict actions taken by the Election Commission (EC) has resulted in fall in voter turnout during the first phase of assembly polling. The supporters of the  Congress and JD (S) have failed to cast bogus votes during this poll which recorded drop in voters' turnout compared to the earlier elections, Gowda said.

The BJP has done well in the first phase of elections while both the areas where second and third phase of elections will be held are strong bases of the  BJP which is likely to bag 130 to 140 seats in the assembly elections, he expressed hope.

BJP election observer Padmanabha Acharya, district president Monappa Bhandary, former MLA Yogish Bhat, MLC Ganesh Karnik, Sudhir Ghate and others were present at press meet.

I think there is some people behind this attack to defeat congress in this state election.so Central Government should invetigate properly who is behind this attack

I think Mr. Gowda forgot the incident of Parliament attack. I think all political parties should take responsibility for the terrorist attacks and try to stop them instead of pointing fingers on others and making innocent lives as political tamasha.

Well, Sadananda Gowda says whatever happens anywhere in India, it is the responsiblity of the Centre. There is old saying in Konkani "Koneyi Handliari Handkore Radiachem Navm'. Now it is BJP & JD(S) ruling the Karanataka state, do they have no responsibilty to curb terrorism in the state? They have their Police & Intelligence squad, what are they doing? We all the Indians should take the blame because without our help, terrirists can not do anything. Therefore, before blaming the BIG BULL let us blame ourselves first because No Government can do anything unless we Indians join together to curb terrorism.

Mr. Gowda's comments are baseless and senseless. Nobody wants terrorism to thrive. The explosion at Hubli court was just a minor one and he is trying to take political mileage out of that. People are not so foolish Mr. Gowda. Try some new tricks!!! I have been in Hubli for the past 18 months. Everything's absolutely normal.

Ms Marian D'Souza ..with due respects I beg to disagree with you. Kindly bear in mind at Kandhahar a PLANE FULL of INDIAN CITIZENS LIFE WAS AT STAKE. If not releasing Azhar these passengers would have perished....and hence releasing him was wise decision at that time. Would you Ms. Marian D'Souza or your close relatives like to be in the that plane in Kandahar during the hijack??

Who escorted the dreaded terrorist Mohammed Azhar to Kandahar in Afghanistan during NDA regime at the centre? This episode is still fresh in the minds of the people. It looks as though the pot is calling the kettle black.
