She, a brave exemplary pioneer soul
Sacrificed her life for profession until her last
Gave her life and love for the family
Confidante and an advisor for many

Cheerful in life, in suffering and pain
Loved one and all throughout her life
Hurt, but she forgave
None can hurt her anymore

Suffered in silence, never pained a soul
Helped all and needy
Not divulging the identity
Never complained, compromised or gone against

She was just
But she never got justice in this world
We pray she will be justly rewarded
We the family miss her the most

We thank each and everyone who helped us throughout our beloved Mariet’s illness
and especially during the last days of her suffering by helping us in various
ways to fulfil her wishes;
consoling us and providing solace and sustenance,
guiding us in our hours of grief, celebrating the
funeral mass,
offering prayers and flowers,
joining us for her last rites both physically and in spirit
and especially for respecting her wishes for time
to herself during her very last days.

A Loving Tribute from

Eric and children (Manu, Madhura and Mahima)

I did not expect to see Mariet leaving us soon to abode with the Lord in the Heavenly Place. My deepest sympathies to Eric, Manu, Madhura, and Mahima for the loss of a loving and kind person who gave it all. We will miss her, greatly. She had visited me at my old place in California and said that my mother was her mother. Mariet was there for my mother until she gave her last breath. She will be well rewarded by our Lord Jesus Christ. Eric & Children are always in my prayers. Be brave! Love you all, Elizabeth

My dear Harry, (Manu, Madhura, Mahima), Please accept my sincere and heartfelt condolences at the untimely demise of your loving wife, Mariet. I knew her since 1964 when I was a boarder at the vocation home , Carmel hill, for my high school studies. She was loved by everyone because she was a loving soul, a good friend, good mother, good teacher, good neighbour and above all a good christian.
May the Good Lord Jesus welcome her into His Eternal Abode of love, peace and joy.
Be assured of my humble prayers that you all may be able to bear the loss of her physical presence ! R.I.P.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Castelino family (Mr. Harry, Manu, Madhura and Mahima) at the untimely demise of Mariette Castelino, a friend and well wisher of the Carmelites. I do recall those happy years of our interaction at Carmel Hill, Mangalore, when I was still a seminarian, she used to be a regular Lector and a Choir member at our monastery. Her students recall her as a very committed teacher. In her passing away, we have lost a cheerful soul. May she rest in peace and may the bereaved family receive the consolation and support they need to bear the loss.

Sincere condolences to the Castelino family, Kind regards, Karen and Rose Kamath
