    In the recipe, you have mentioned to use green chilly, coriander seeds and garam masala powder as ingredients. Please advise as to when these needs to be used in the method.

    while cooking rice try adding 1 lemon juice to avoid sticking and for kurma I add half cup of coriander leaves,half cup of yogurt and 2tbsp of fresh coconut.try it.

    Dear Fred
    Kindly follow the below instructions for best end results:
    1. Increase the baking powder to 1 tsp.
    2. Beat egg whites until stiff, adding sugar spoon by spoon. Tilt the mixing bowl and ensure that egg white doesn't fall. Beat until then.
    3. Add chopped nuts in batches of 3 and fold gently. Do not add at a time.
    4. Bake in pre heated oven at 180 degrees for 20 mts.

    I followed the above recipe to the letter. However, every time I make the lime size balls and place them on the cookie sheet, the balls collapse/spread and become flat. Is there something I need to add to the mixture to make the balls stay round and prevent from spreading. Appreciate any suggestions. All my friends love our Manglorean macroons!

    @Sybil serrao,mumbai,Horse gram is what we say in Konkani,kulith,a red coloured lentils sees as toordal but red colour.Previously farmers used to feed their buffelows/horse after work in fields.(cooked)

    Dear Avril,I saw your Video of making were pouring the dough into cold moulds first.My tip is first place the moulds in the vessel so that it becomes warm and then pour the that it puffs up better.Same procedure further by second raw.Dough poured first will be cold and falls back when opens the lid.Thank you.
