| take a pan heat oil and put mustered seeds and 5-6 red chillies and fry little and add uppadpachir now and cook for some time
dont put salt without checking because uppad pachir are salty

| Rainbow is one of the brand names of condensed milk available in GCC countries. It is unsweetened tinned milk. I am not sure but Amul or other brands may be available in India that could be substituted for Rainbow |

| Coconut is not used in this receipe. But you can still prepare the egg curry with the same masala using coconut. It will give good extra taste also. |

| Yes you can make this in the oven...its how i've been doing it for several years..but you'd have to include a good splosh of oil and then wrap the whole thing in foil, and bake about 180-200 C till done ,,,maybe an hour or so...and 10 mins towards the end of the cooking , open the foil and turn on the grill, so you get a nice charred effect. |

Hello friends,
The above recipe can turn out equally good with bhopla or kuvalo. It is a favorite in my house. For a variation and keeping the quantity in mind i would use 5 madras and 5 kashmiri chillies and reduce coriander seeds to 1 tsp or else u get a strong smell. Instead of boiling pumpkin in water, i fry a tomato in oil, when cooked add 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste and add kuvalo/bhopa and prawns to cook and then add ground spices. Try and u will enjoy. |
