Ingredients:
1 cup of almonds
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp. ghee
Cardamom powder
½ cup Nido milk powder
½ cup grated coconut
Method:
Soak almonds in water and peel them. Once pealed grind them to a fine paste. Do not add water, if required add sugar and grind along with milk powder. Take a non stick pan, pour the mixture in that and keep on slow fire. Keep stirring. After sometime you will see that the mixture begins to thicken. Now add ghee and keep stirring well. Add cardamom powder, keep stirring. When you see the mixture leaving the side of the pan add the grated coconut. Mix well. Grease a tray with ghee and pour the mixture in it, flatten it with a back of the spoon. Spread it evenly. While still warm, cut with a cutter in diamond shapes. And keep it overnight to cool.

Hi, Could you tell me if I replaced whole almonds with powder, what should be the process, to get paste consistency. I tried it and since there is no water, there is no paste. I have all remaining as powder. |
