Funeral cortege will leave the family residence 'Shenoy Mandir', 4-31, Derebail-Konchady, at 3 pm on Monday, July 16 for mass at Our Most Holy Redeemer's Church, Derebail, Mangaluru followed by burial.

Even though I wasn't SIR LASRADO'S student I was lucky to refer his book on Chemistry in my 1st / 2nd PUC in 1988 - 1990 when I was studying at VIJAYA COLLEGE BASAVANAGUDI, BANGALORE. His book co-authored with D'SOUZA was an excellent resource along with another book authored by KINI & RAO. It is these books which inspired me to the subject of Chemistry where I went on to pursue my Ph.D from IIT MADRAS, CHENNAI. Sorry for he late message. Let his soul rest in peace. I wish I was his student at least in my next birth if any. Dr Ravikumar P

Dear Aunty , Sandra, Stephen, Christopher, Allan and families.
Very sad to hear of Uncle Lasarados demise. Such a wonderful person was he , always with a smile. A great teacher and an inspiration to thousands of students who have passed through St. Aloysius College. I will always have pleasant and happy memories of Uncle. Please accept my deepest condolences and my prayers are with you all at this difficult time. May God give you the strength to bear this loss. May Uncles soul rest in peace Amen.

It is his great teaching that made things simple and lively in B.Sc. Classes inspired me to do my Masters in Medical Biochemistry and Doctorate in Clinical Molecular Genetics. His last words to us, outgoing students of PCM batch of 1978 wishing everyone to prosper and progress and relax when success comes explaining us how exactly 25 years ago after passing his M.Sc. In Madras he with his friends went to a movie at night in a bicycle. May his soul rest in peace.

Professor Lasrado as I would otherwise call him "Uncle" as he was our neighbour and close family friend in college gardens, was a wonderful person , Lecturer and mentor. His dedication to Saint Aloysius college as a Lecturer and Head of the department goes a long way . He was always willing to go that extra mile to teach us after class when ever we went to him. We will remember him always . MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE .

Prof Lasrado taught us chemistry in college
Later on I also had the pleasure of meeting his son Stephan while I was studying engineering in Manipal.

A very gentle soul he went about the business of teaching in a very soft mannerHe was never involved in any college politics and his mission was to teach his students and wish them well in thier future education
