Simon Mascarenhas (91), St Joseph Colony, Gummola, Belve, Kundapur, husband of the late Leena Mascarenhas, father of Irene, Johnson, Walter, Noreen, Lawrine, Olina and Dorine, father-in-law of Gladys, Eliza, Lancy, Marshal, Damodar Sunil and the late John Almeida, grandfather of Stanly, Sherly, Jeswin, Josleine, Welisha, Rohan, Varsha, Eula, Shelton and Adrial, passed away on October 22, 2020.

Funeral cortege leaves residence at 3.30 pm on Friday October 23 for Mass at St Joseph Church, Gummola, Belve, Kundapur.

Dear Mascarenhas family,

It is sad to hear from you that one of your loved one passed away in death , please accept my heart felt condolences, I know how sad it is to loose some one in death whom we love so much, because I losed my father recently,

Hear I would like to share a scripture from the Bible, which gives us a hope to see them very soon, and God is going to resurrect them back to life on this very earth, this scripture is from John 5:28 and 29, which says Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice , and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.

So don't you think this is a comforting scripture which we all can cherish.
