Robert Goveas (89), Badyar, husband of the late Juliana Goveas (Crasta), father of Walter / Zeena Miranda, Emilda / George Lobo, Veronica / Vincent Goveas, Michael / Nirmala D’Silva, Renny / Melwyn Saldanha, Lancy / Marina D’Cruz, Laveena / Clement D’souza, grandfather of Walusha, Sharon / Samson, Vernon, Vanessa,Velron, late Melissa, Melina, Brenwyn, Shayden, Ronan, Royden, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020.

Mortal remains will be brought to St Raphael Church, Badyar, on Saturday, June 6 at 9.30 am. Funeral prayers as well as burial will be held at 11am.

Due to current lockdown situation, those desiring to pay their respects may do the same from 9.30 to 11 am. We earnestly request you to kindly follow the guidelines of social distancing set by the district administration.

Mr Robert Goveas lived a long , healthy and peaceful life.He loved his children very much and fulfilled his obligations towards all of them. He had always some advise to his children but in a humourous way. He was pro-church in his attitudes and always supported all activities of the Church . He was a generous man helping the needy in his own way is very much appreciated.He was always friendly with his workers and neighbours .All his children loved him and took care of him till the end is to be appreciated. May his soul rest in peace. May the Lord give his family members to accept this great loss and that too during this Covid-19 Pandemic as they are not able to travel.
