Jerald Oswald D Souza (50) know as Jerry Bajjodi, Konkani singer & composer, son of the late Monica & Elias D'Souza, husband of Laveena, father of Jeslita, Joyston, Lozita, brother of Eveline, Celina, Irein, Rockey and Norbert, passed away on Tuesday September 3, 2019.

Funeral Mass at 3 pm on Thursday, September 5 in Infant Mary Church , Bajjodi , Mangalore, thereafter burial at Bendore cemetery.

Humanly speaking, the passing away of Jerry, a talented composer/singer is so untimely. But the Lord knows best why He allowed it. Saddened though we are, we have to accept His will. It was really a shocking news for me about the demise of Jerald D'Souza (Jerry, Bajjodi) !. A hard worker in his profession including singing. He has sung in my first music album " Kogulle" in 2005 & his daughter Jeslita. Both Jerry and Jeslita sung in my youtube song " Fatima Saibini " composed in commemoration of 100 years of Fatima in 13.05.2017. My heartfelt sympathies to his bereaved family.
