Fr Donath D’Souza (83), son of the late Rosario D’Souza and the late Faustino D’Souza, brother of the late Victor M D'Souza / Linett, Celine / Mark Furtado, Flossy / Stany Lewis, Teresa / Theo Furtado and Winny / Vincent D'Almeida, passed away on Friday August 9, 2019.

Funeral on Monday, August 12 in Our Lady of Salvation Church, Dadar west, Mumbai at 4.00 pm.

Dear Philip , Winnie and all D Souza Family members in Udyavara and Mumbai, Sad to hear about the demise of Fr. Donath. We miss him in the name of Fr. Donath. We lost a priest of our family. Fr. Donath was an inspiration for the youngsters. Last 4 years back though not before we had a good conversation regarding the past things. family etc. and Some facts of life like sharing.It was interesting to listen him . In recent years he came closer to our family as well.May God Almighty God give him Eternal rest in Heaven and the strength to his family to bear this great loss.

Fr Donath was indeed priest of Christ. He had highly positive aprach towards life. His last days although very traumatic be cause of his sickness , he never let anyone know about it. He was inspiration to evryone who came in touch with persona. He used to say often that Catholics are community of Halleluija of hope and victory. In numerous encounters I had with him he came as a close freind and philosopher and I have lost a friendly voice of last twenty years and my family too has lost a great freind. Fr Fonath rest in Peace You had never conflict in life. You calmed evrything around you with your soothing touch. May your Soul Rest in Peace. My heartfelt condolences to Fr Donath's family.
