Fr. Thomas was a very courageous priest, straight forward in his thinking and full of novelty. He had such wonderful new ideas about everything and enjoyed doing what he did with gusto. His scriptural studies helped him too innovate and be rooted in his culture and find nuances of expressions in music, dance, drama and every other form of visual art expressions. In him there was an energy that was bubbling out something like a fountain that gushed forth with power and dynamism. He was always active and full of life. He did many new things and brought out many new ideas maybe some of those connections were not wise. May God embrace him in his steadfast love and mercy and bless him with the eternal reward forever.

There in acondolance mass in NBCLC-BANGALORE ON 14/3/2013.AT 4.30pm celebrated by the archbishop.Kindly attend and pray for his soul.
Fr Thomas was a living saintwho had touched the life of many people silently. He never boasted of his achievements and did everthying silently so that people who are helped by him do not feel obligated.
He death was mystical and his life just vanished in 3 mins.He just gave his spirt to the LORD without troubling anybody. For people who did not know him it was peaceful and good death. For people who know him it was dreams not completed.Death IS AN ENGIMA WHERE NOBODY CAN SEEK EXPLANATION.
May his soul rest in peace and GOD give courage for his loved ones to accepted his sudden demise.
WE SHOULD ACCEPT THAT HIS TIME HAD COME AND GOD PLUCKED FROM HIS GARDEN.

Its with shock and pain I learned about the sudden demise of Rev. Fr. Thomas D'sa. I was fortunate to know him since 1992. He was very fraternal and warm person to all.
I have learned from those who have benefited from his service in terms of using fine arts for the Evangelization that many children(orphaned and poor) will miss him like a real Father. Most of them would not be able to express their graitude of how much they miss him. May God take care of them.

Fr. Thomas Dsa was a great support to our family from ever since we met him for the first time.
A great visionary who transformed the way we look at Christianity, by bringing in the Indian culture of praying in all the mass that he conducted. I have attended many masses conducted by father and they still remain very much alive in my heart, the feeling of spirituality and blessing that he left through his prayers will stay with me forever. When I think of him not being there with us,
I hope that all of us, i.e.his friends, well wishers and all others who knew him well will pay our respects to him not only by prayers but by working towards cherishing his hard work, by keeping all the of his work alive and not letting it go down by his departure.
There cannot be another Fr. Thomas Dsa ever. He was a blessing in our life. I know that people who have been in close touch with NBCLC during his service there will understand what I am trying to say that we all will miss in our lives.
Let us pray that we keep up Father's hard work and never let it die.
A great loss to everyone of us. His contributions and his personality can never be substituted by any one else. He was one among those great souls who brought about great changes in many peoples' lives.
Miss you very much Father.
He has reached a new destination, and now do we await to meet him again. Until then, our heart awaits and awaits for that day.

Very much schocked and bereaved at the sudden death of a good friend priest. Since 1969 I had known him. After our seminary studies once again we were together in Rome. When the first Dance group was ready with studies I helped them to come to Germany. Ever since my contact with Fr. Thomas was very intensive. We used to speak on the phone often. During all his successive trips with the Dance Group to Europe he visited me. He has visited almost all the dioceses of West Germany and all all the West and Central Europian countires. The Biblican Dances his Group presented were very well appreciated all over India and abroad.
With the sudden death of Fr. Thomas, the Church in India, specially North India loses a great missionary: highly Talented, intelligent and very charismatic but very simple and friedly, outgoung to help anybody in need. He was a man of big heart. In Fr. Thomas, I am missing a great friend.
My heartfelt Condolences to his brothers and sisters and their families and also to Bishop Anthony Fernandes, all the priests of Bareily and Lucknow Diocese, all the sisters and all his friends and all those who people who know him and bereave at his death. May his Soul rest in Peace!
Fr. Thomas I miss you!

I have known Fr. Thomas since 1977, the year he was ordained in Lucknow. I was then a school girl there. He was a family friend ever since, and had helped me through the thick and thin of life. He was always there for us. His demise has left an unreplaceable void in my life, as in the lives of all who have known him. I last spoke to him on the 26th Feb, when he called to wish me on my birthday, a day he never forgot. When I asked him how he was etc.. he said.. never felt better, and by God's grace will live till a ripe old age!! I guess this was his ripe old age.. He is no longer physically with us, but I know he will always be amidst us. My mom says she will always be honored to have known such a man as he. We have lost not only a friend, but a family member. My condolence goes out to each and everyone who have also have the honor of knowing such a wonderful being, as Fr. Thomas D'sa. It is a very hard moment for all of us, and these constant tears will dry soon enough. But I know, he will still be here.. his presence will still be with us, still guiding us through life's winding road. May he rest in peace.

Rev. Donald De Souza, Mangalore/LucknowSunday, March 03, 2013
Fr. Thomas D'Sa and myself were classmates, joined the seminary together and studied for six years together in two seminaries. Indeed a great shock to hear of his sudden death, more so because only recently he told me that he did not take even a single tablet for any illness whatsoever....and I told him: 'Thomas, you must really thank God for this grace and may it be so for many more years'!! Alas! He is no more! God's ways are not man's ways! R.I.P.

We have lost a committed priest and an inspiring Scripture teacher. I remember his days at St. Charles Seminary, Nagpur. Fr. Thomas was smart, active and creative. It was at the Basketball game that I came to know him more. Incidentally he died while playing badminton. We hope and pray that now he enjoys the beatific vision which he longed for. my sincere condolence to all those who grieve at this death.

A flower is faded untimely from the catholic Clergy's Garden. Our truthful condolences to the bereaved Fr. D'Sa's family members. We assure our Heavenly prayers. Let us not forget that we are from one Eternal God and we are to God a day.

Through death God our only beloved Savior takes us to eternal life. When we are in this world, God wants us to love each other and all the things which He created. We should work sincerely and lead a good life through which we can prepare ourselves for our own death and thus we follow in the path of Jesus Christ who died for our sins.
